Noosa Riverfest Regatta

Etchells Australian Winter Championships
The Etchells Australian Winter Championship is an annual event. It has been conducted by the Mooloolaba Etchells Fleet continuously for the last 12 years. The event attracts the best Australian and New Zealand Etchells sailors to Queensland. Its previous place getters have included America's Cup sailors, Sydney to Hobart Race skippers, Olympians. The number of entries continues to grow with fleet entries in 2007 being 52, one up from the previous year and ten more than the number of entries to the Etchells World Championships conducted in England in the same month. The 2008 event grew to a fleet of 54 boats.
Mooloolaba Triathlon
Approaching its seventeenth year the Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival is an annual three-day celebration of multi-sport events, hospitality, entertainment and lifestyle products, all supporting Australia's second largest triathlon event. The numerous swimming, running and cycling activities encourage local participation, providing competition options for people of all skill and ability levels. Furthermore, the festival attracts interstate competitors, bringing the nations best athletes together in a fun and vibrant atmosphere, to swim, bike, run and party. The Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival also hosts the Australian leg of the ITU World Cup Series, which attracts over 150 of the world's top triathletes as they battle for their share of the valuable Olympic qualifying points and prize money. Headlining events include the Mooloolaba Ocean Swim, Asics Twilight five kilometre run, The Courier Mail Superkidz Triathlon and the Ryders Cycling Grand Prix. Mooloolaba Winter Bowls Carnival
The Sunshine Coast Winter Bowls Carnival is in its 47th Year. The Carnival is made up of a number of carnivals over the entire Sunshine Coast. The carnival consists of the Maroochy Swan Prelude, Mooloolaba Bonanza, District Winter Carnival, Caloundra City Carnival and finally the Kawana Bowls Winter Carnival. All Carnivals cater for Men and Lady bowlers with singles, pairs, triples and fours with mixed events in pairs, triples and fours.
